<br>We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our Production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure efficient production processes. The candidate will also follow all food safety, quality assurance, and GMP policies to guarantee high standards in production output.<br>

<br><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong> <em>( include but are not limited to the following)</em><br>

<li>Thorough knowledge of production machinery, including operation, disassembly, and assembly.</li>
<li>Safely continuously operate and maintain production machinery in proper working order.</li>
<li>Operate and monitor equipment as needed and supply the assigned production lines with raw materials necessary for manufacturing.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with all safety and work rules.</li>
<li>Follow and understand verbal instructions in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Ensure clean, safe, and organized work areas.</li>
<li>Ensure all food safety, quality assurance, and GMP policies and procedures are followed.</li>
<li>Comply with all health, sanitation, and USDA regulations.</li>
<li>Comply with policies described in the Employee Handbook and other policy and procedure documents.</li>
<li>Ability to work extended periods in a cold environment (28 F).</li>
<li>Ability to lift 70 lbs. Or more and to push/pull heavy objects.</li>
<li>Frequent bending and lifting at the waist/knees.</li>
<li>Other duties include assembling boxes, packing meat products, and weighing and loading boxes on pallets.</li>
<li>Operate the following: Box sealer, scale, and vacuum sealer.</li>
<li>Collect, wash, and sanitize boxes for reuse in production.</li>

<br>The <strong>Quality Control Technician</strong> is responsible for completing precise raw whole squid and prepared calamari product quality assessments, data entry, daily plant inspections, and equipment sanitation and calibration accuracy checks. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, reporting quality and policy deviations, operating a fryer for calamari taste tests, and providing real-time feedback to the Operations team during in-line quality checks and boat unloading. Specific day-to-day activities depend on boat arrivals and catch volumes (hails).<br>

<br><strong>Responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):</strong><br>

<ul>
<li>Complete daily pre-Operational (pre-op) sanitation plant inspections, environmental swabbing, and paperwork for the interior and exterior of the plant, communicate corrective actions to the Operations team leadership immediately, and verify the assigned corrective actions were done in the agreed-upon timeframe</li>
<li>Complete cooler checks and associated paperwork twice per day and report any deviations immediately</li>
<li>Sample and grade raw whole squid during processing and boat unloading against specifications, such as external quality, internal quality, appearance, aroma, texture, count per pound, weight, length, width, and others as needed</li>
<li>Upload photographs of raw whole squid samples, enter all quality data to assigned computer location, and report results to assigned individuals the same day as the evaluation</li>
<li>Conduct daily calibration accuracy checks for equipment such as thermometers and scales and report any deviations immediately</li>
<li>Perform quality control assessments of prepared calamari products against specifications, such as appearance, aroma, texture, taste, count per pound, net weight, glaze percent, size, and defects</li>
<li>Upload photographs of prepared calamari samples, enter all quality data to assigned computer location, and report results to assigned individuals the same day as the evaluation</li>
<li>Check in-line samples and rework against specifications and report status to Operations immediately</li>
<li>Fulfill sales samples requests by picking orders, packing them appropriately for the product and outside temperature, and arranging shipping and pick-up as needed</li>
<li>Clean and sanitize work stations to standard regularly</li>
<li>Perform other job-related duties as assigned.</li>

<br>Requires strong attention to detail and checking orders before accurately loading trucks<br>

<br>Accurate paperwork compliance, scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock, and solid knowledge of receiving procedures, including lot assignment and internal records procedures.<br>

<br>Every position may involve pulling, pushing, or lifting up to 75 lbs and that the warehouse is a very cold environment.<br>

<br><strong><em>*Qualifications of the Shipping & Receiving Loader</em>*</strong><br>

<ul>
<li>Previous experience in warehouse, shipping, and receiving roles, preferably in distribution or manufacturing environments</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 75 lbs</li>
<li>Capability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods</li>
<li>Comfortable working in varying temperature conditions, including cold storage environments</li>
<li>Proficient in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, stand-up jacks, etc.</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills with a sense of urgency</li>
<li>High attention to detail and accuracy</li>
<li>Able to work independently and within a team</li>
</ul>

<br>We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized <strong><em>*Shipping & Receiving Loader</em>*</strong> to efficiently and accurately load and unload shipments. This role is crucial in ensuring that all products are handled with care, meeting quality standards and safety regulations.<br>

<br><strong><em>*Key Responsibilities of the Shipping & Receiving Loader</em>*</strong><br>

<ul>
<li>Accurately load and unload shipments, ensuring careful handling of products</li>
<li>Follow verbal instructions in a fast-paced environment under the supervision of an immediate supervisor</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area</li>
<li>Adhere to health, sanitation, GMP, and USDA regulations as outlined in the Employee Handbook and company policies</li>
<li>Receive meat products into the company, including lot assignment and internal records management</li>
<li>Verify orders to invoicing before accurately loading trucks and signing off on paperwork</li>
<li>Maintain accurate reporting of daily moves, scanning inventory, and ensuring accurate counts</li>
<li>Engage positively with vendors and drivers</li>
<li>Scan, sort, and manage incoming and outgoing stock with proper paperwork compliance</li>
<li>Receive, stock, and stack products appropriately</li>
<li>Safely load and unload products into company and vendor trucks</li>
<li>Stack pallets in coolers and freezers safely</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with managers, drivers, and personnel</li>
<li>Maintain clean coolers and warehouse/loading areas</li>
<li>Ensure trucks are cleaned inside and out, removing any meat drippings or debris</li>
