Entry Level Machine Operator
Rumford, RI
$13.00 to $14.30 per hour depending on experience
Job Duties and Responsibilities of the Machine Operator
- Prepare for operations by interfacing with stamping employees from outgoing shift.
- Review work schedule, check stamping press, check related process equipment (feed, straightener) and supplies (reels, interleaf) necessary for work to be done. Then prepare for operations.
- Load skids of raw material or coils of stamped parts onto payoff, feed through the stamping tool and removing parts from take up upon completion.
- Operate stamping presses and related process equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures, work instructions, and specifications included in the tool book
- Responsible for identifying process problems and notifying the appropriate personnel to arrange for repair.
- Responsible for identifying changes and/or deviations to standard operating procedures, work instructions, setup sheets, in-process inspection requirements, packaging specifications, and notifying appropriate personnel in order to have them updated accordingly.

Education /Skills /Qualifications of the Machine Operator
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must read, write and communicate in English as it relates to this position and safety
- Must successfully complete 90-day probationary period
