Summary of the Machine Operator
- Tends machine that mixes such ingredients as chocolate, liquor, sugar, powdered milk, raw produce, and proteins etc.
- Weighs and dumps dry ingredients into mixing machine by hand, or with the assistance of another employee.
- Observes meters and valves to admit measured amounts of liquids into mixer.
- Observes thermometer and sets the thermostat to heat mixer to specified temperature.
- Start the mixer and ensure that the product consistency conforms to standards.
- Operates meters and valves to transfer finished product to packaging machines.
- Frequently lifts, pushes, or pulls up to 50lbs.
- Troubleshoot basic Mechanical issues and perform basic preventative maintenance and repairs on machinery and alert management on urgent matters.
