Machine Operator
Warren, RI
$16.00 to $17.00 per hour
Operates automatic molding machines to produce products which conform to part print. Assure products meet all specifications and are made according to the latest procedures and standards.
Responsibility Level of the Machine Operator
- Working from shop floor work orders, operates automatic molding presses.
- Maintain the thickness of molded product.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the presses and work area.
- Fills resin in the hopper when operating the presses.
- Must maintain molding production and inspection sheets.
- Places parts on trays for ovens or stocks parts in holding area.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience of the Machine Operator
- High School Diploma or equivalent desired.
- Previous experience in set up and operation of automatic molding presses preferred. Experience with measuring tools necessary.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Ability to perform general physical activities such as walking, lifting and handling of materials.
- Fine motor dexterity required for installing, positioning and moving/manipulation of materials.
- Good attention to detail necessary.
