The Fish Cutter is responsible for accurately cutting and preparing fresh seafood products according to customer specifications and company standards.
Responsibilities of the Fish Cutter
- Cut, trim, and prepare various types of seafood, including fish fillets, steaks, and portions.
- Ensure all cuts meet quality and weight specifications.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Operate cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect seafood products for quality and freshness.
- Adhere to all food safety standards and company policies.
Requirements of the Fish Cutter
- Experience in seafood cutting or food processing is preferred.
- Ability to handle sharp tools and work in a cold environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift to 50 pounds.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team setting.
