Job Description

Packing Associate
Lowell, MA
$13.00 per hour

Role and Responsibilities of the Packing Associate

Perform daily checks of area for non-compliance and report them
Ensure the soup coming out of the chiller is below 39
Pass product through x-ray to ensure no foreign materials
Calibrate x-ray hourly and complete calibration form
Able to quickly sort and identify different types of soup based on identifiers
Lift 8# and 4# bags from conveyor to conveyor or pack into a case
Work with tape machine to make adjustments for different case sizes and change tape roll when needed
Lift 16# cases off conveyor and palletize according to a pallet pattern
Manufacture quality products efficiently within time and quantity parameters
Follow the company GMP s
Ensure clean and tidy production area at all times
Report Downtime to in a timely manner
Communicate and update all relevant parties of any issues or changes (low yields, etc.)
Monitor and action all waste
Manage inventory of raw material
Any other tasks deemed reasonable and reasonably requested by management
