Essential Functions and Basic Duties of the Production Associate
- Inventories supply levels daily. Accurate use of RF Scanner gun
- Requisitions proper amounts of ingredients and supplies from the warehouse.
- Measures out ingredients in accordance with established procedures.
- Adds measured out ingredients to mixing/cooking area and cooks and prepares product according to required processes.
- Follows all established storage, preparation requirements.
- Responsible for safety and quality of the product produced or packaged on a daily basis.
- Assumes responsibility for effective communication and coordination with management and area personnel.
- Assists area personnel as needed.
- Completes required forms and paperwork accurately and according to Company procedures.
- Ensures work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
- Completes special projects as assigned.
Performance Measurements of the Production Associate
- Product preparation activities meet or exceed, regulatory, and client standards.
- Safety regulations are observed.
- Product is prepared on time. Production flow is smooth and efficient.
- High quality and proper quantity of products are delivered to the client.
- Required inventories, requisitions, and reports are complete, accurate, and timely.
- Management is well informed.
- Good coordination and communication exist with area staff and with related departments.
