Principle Duties and Responsibilities of the Production Line Operator
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
- Loads material onto conveyor from pallets, baskets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
- Counts and tracks the quantities and part numbers of product loaded onto paint line conveyor.
- Performs visual inspection of parts for incoming or outgoing defects.
- Operates tools, such as pneumatic sander and metal shaping devices for repairs.
- Supports trained personnel inside paint/powder-coating booths.
- Unloads product from paint line conveyor and stages material.
