Job description
The optimal candidate will be primarily responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping of product. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records of inventory and ensure that all safety protocols are followed. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills are required as this role will cross train and feed into a customer service role.
Responsibilities:
- Pick orders using an RF scanner.
- Load and unload product from trucks and other vehicles.
- Organize and store items in the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records Excel and Epicor P21
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed in the warehouse.
- Assist with the maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Perform regular inspections of the warehouse to ensure proper storage of materials.
- Pack and unpack items for shipment or storage.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Perform other warehouse related duties as assigned.
- Picking and packing and average of 50 outgoing shipments daily.
- 30ft high maximum picking height
- Daily inventory checks
- Will cross train in receiving and Quality Inspection
- Oversees one additional employee who has been there for 2 years.
Requirements
- High School diploma (or equivalent)
- Warehouse experience
