<li>Produce machined parts by setting up and operating (CNC and Machining Equipment)</li>

<br>We are looking for an Experienced Maintenance Mechanic who will work with our team to insure continual and efficient operation of the facility's mechanical and electrical equipment, complete preventative maintenance, diagnose issues and repair motors, pneumatic and hydraulic devices, conveyor systems, additional production related equipment as well as overall plant machinery. Duties must always be carried out in a safe way, remaining in compliance with GMPs.<br>

<br><strong>Maintenance Dept Responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic</strong><br>

<ul>
<li>Maintain, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, steam, water, waste, and pneumatic systems/components found in manufacturing equipment related to all processing, production of corrugated cardboard and facility systems.</li>
<li>Plan and execute preventative maintenance according to PM schedule to minimize equipment downtime.</li>
<li>Maintain production line machinery and equipment to manufacturers specs.</li>
<li>Complete repairs of mechanical and structural components on production lines as needed to remain operational.</li>
<li>Electromechanical repairs and troubleshooting of Motors, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrical and Sensors.</li>
<li>Inventory shop stock weekly / monthly to maintain accurate parts inventories.</li>
<li>Complete work orders and required paperwork to the highest quality standards.</li>
<li>Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), company policies and procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) always.</li>
<li>Maintenance of machinery as well as facility.</li>
<li>Maintain a high level of safety awareness, striving for an accident-free workplace.</li>

<br><strong>Preferred Experience of the Maintenance Mechanic</strong><br>

<ul>
<li>Four+ years related experience, preferably in the industrial manufacturing industry.</li>
<li>Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use a variety of hand tools, precision hand tools, and measuring instruments at a high level as required. Preferred competencies in welding, presses, grinders, basic fabrication, PLC logic.</li>
<li>A background in boiler maintenance or a 2nd class fireman s license or willing to obtain a 2nd class fireman s license.</li>
<li>Able to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, schematics, service, and operating manuals.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate maintenance, production, quality, and operational records as required.</li>

<br>Reporting to the Building Engineer, this position performs installations and preventative and corrective maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of HVAC equipment, oil burners, both residential and commercial, low-pressure commercial steam boilers and other mechanical plant equipment and systems.<br>

<br><em><strong>SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES of the **</em></strong>Senior Facilities HVAC Mechanic**<br>

<ul>
<li>Installs heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, including controls and related fixtures such as air and water filters and piping by using refrigeration, pipe fitting and structural layout techniques, blueprints, appropriate machines, tools and work aids to join tubing and/or pipes;to cut and thread pipes;to solder or braze joints;to mount compressor and condenser units;and to connect motors, compressors, temperature controls, humidity controls and circulating ventilation fans to electrical power sources.</li>
<li>Checks equipment for malfunctioning by observing pressure and vacuum gauges and other indicators;by adjusting controls in testing joints and connections for gas leaks;by injecting refrigerant and adjustment valves, controls and pumps;and by using testing equipment such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, amp probes, etc. To ensure proper operation.</li>
<li>Maintains, rebuilds and repairs by replacing worn or defective parts such as switches, fuses, thermostats and electrical wiring;by pumping specified gas or fluids into systems;by adding necessary liquids;by lubricating motors and bearings;and by changing filters.</li>
<li>Calculates heat loads for new installations;analyzes and treats both open and closed water systems such as cooling towers by adding algaecides to prevent the spread of airborne bacteria.</li>
<li>Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on building automation systems and components in both critical and non-critical environments. Test and verify system readings ensuring optimal system operation.</li>
<li>Performs related work such as making and assembling metal ducts and chassis parts for heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems;drilling holes for mounting brackets;screwing, boring, riveting and welding parts to assemble structural and functional components such as motors, controls, switches and gauges;and installing shells and cabinets of systems.</li>
<li>Supervises outside vendors and contractors.</li>
<li>Maintains the highest level of safety and understands that s/he may be exposed to the harmful effects of noxious fumes, chemicals, inadequate ventilation, excessive machine noises and high voltage equipment;and may work in confined or cramped spaces.</li>

<br>High School Diploma and a certificate or diploma from a recognized institution above the high school level, as evidence of completion of a two-year program and certification in HVAC<br>

<br><strong>Must be MA licensed in HVAC</strong><br>

<br><em><strong>Experience and Abilities of the **</em></strong>Senior Facilities HVAC Mechanic**<br>

<ul>
<li>Close to 2-3 years of progressively responsible experience in the operation and maintenance of building HVAC and mechanical systems.</li>
<li>Responsible to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of humidification equipment, pumps and small internal combustion engine-driven.</li>
<li>Safely and efficiently use hand and power tools, ladders, automated man lifts, shop and other equipment in the performance of the duties stated herein.</li>
<li>Must be able to interact with equipment manufacturers and vendors to order parts, supplies and other material and coordinate activities with other tradespeople as required.</li>
<li>Use a PC with appropriate software to maintain operations records.</li>
<li>Read blueprints, plans, schematics, and single line diagrams as required in the performance of the duties stated herein.</li>

<br>Role Overview:<br>
 We are seeking a skilled Appliance Technician to join our team. In this full-time role, the technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing both residential and commercial appliances in and around the Boston and Greater Boston areas. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 consecutive years of experience in appliance repair, with a strong understanding of electrical and HVAC systems.<br>

<br>Qualifications of the Appliance Technician<br>

<li><strong>Minimum of 2 years of experience in appliance repair (residential and/or commercial)</strong></li>
<li><strong>Universal EPA Certification is a plus</strong></li>
