            <description><![CDATA[<strong>Maintenance Mechanic</strong><strong>Malden, MA</strong><strong>3rd Shift</strong>&nbsp;THIS IS AN HOURLY ROLE: $30-45/hr depending on experience&nbsp;We are looking for an Experienced Maintenance Mechanic who will work with our team to insure continual and efficient operation of the facility's mechanical and electrical equipment, complete preventative maintenance, diagnose issues and repair motors, pneumatic and hydraulic devices, conveyor systems, additional production related equipment as well as overall plant machinery. Duties must be carried out in a safe and sanitary way at all times remaining in compliance with GMPs.<strong>Maintenance Dept Responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic</strong><ul><li>Maintain, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, steam, water, waste and pneumatic systems/components found in food manufacturing equipment related to all packaging, processing, filling and facility systems (Freezers / Chilling Systems / Compressors / Steam Pumps, Heat Exchangers, etc.) - Plan and execute preventative maintenance according to PM schedule to minimize equipment downtime</li><li>Maintain production line machinery and equipment to manufacturers specs</li><li>Complete repairs of mechanical and structural components on production lines as needed to remain operational.</li><li>Inventory shop stock weekly / monthly in order to maintain accurate parts inventories.</li></ul>Complete work orders and required paperwork to the highest quality standards<ul><li>Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), company policies and procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) at all times.</li><li>Maintenance of machinery as well as facility as a whole.</li><li>Maintain a high level of safety awareness, striving for an accident-free workplace.</li><li>Four+ years related experience, preferably in food industry</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use of a variety of hand tools, precision hand tools, and measuring instruments at a high level as required.
